Three Ways To Make Your Baby’s First Easter Extra Special

Easter bunny
The most spring weekend is almost here! If it is going to be your baby’s first Easter, then the weekend will be extra special. If you still don’t have a plan worked out, check out these suggestions to make the baby’s first Easter unforgettable.
Dress the part
Start with picking some Easter themed clothes. You can always find cute onesies or bibs that say ‘My first Easter’, or you can go for solid colored clothes in pastel colors – mint, lavender, cream or yellow. Check out Pinterest for decoration inspiration and make sure you take lots of photos of your baby.
Pack the Easter basket
The Easter basket for a child that is under one year of age will definitely be different than the one for an older child. While you cannot put any candies, eggs or chocolates in it, feel free to add stuffed toys and teethers in a shape of a bunny, headbands, blankets, or spring colored burp cloths.
Play games
Have some plastic eggs in different colors to play with your baby. You can hide them in your baby’s presence, for example under a pillow, and have them ‘find’ the eggs. Or you can have the baby sort the eggs by color. If your baby is too small for these games, she will still enjoy looking at and exploring these new objects. Just have a camera ready not to miss her smile.
